3 Easy Steps = Quality Leads on LinkedIn
LinkedIn provides an incredible opportunity to grow your business and connect with prospects from around the world. With the new year upon us, it is a great time to learn how to use LinkedIn to your advantage.
For the past two years, our team has lived and breathed LinkedIn. We have been committed to using our expertise of the platform to develop a successful LinkedIn client acquisition strategy. Focusing on B2B companies, we have effectively generated qualified leads that our clients would have otherwise missed.
Here is an example of one way we use LinkedIn to find prospects; it is super easy, give it a try!
- Use the advanced search feature on LinkedIn to search for relevant keywords for your business. In this example, we used the keyword “sustainability” since we love working with companies that are socially responsible. There are many more search parameters you can use such as location and title to really narrow down your results to your ideal prospect. Upgrading to LinkedIn premium allows you to preform more refined searches including seniority level, company size, or groups.
- Now that you have created your list of prospects, it is time to connect with them! LinkedIn automatically generates a super boring connection request message…do not use this! Instead, write your own and make it more personal. Here is an example of one I like to use:
Hi (Name),
I’m David Steel, Founder and CEO of EveryoneLinked. We utilize LinkedIn to help companies elevate their market presence, reach a larger customer base, and in turn generate revenue. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.
Sincerely,

- Once your connection request has been accepted, send a follow up message thanking them for connecting. This message is also a great opportunity to tell them a little more about you, your company, and to provide a call to action!
